The trip down to Early Edition wasn’t even planned this time and was bit of a spontaneous affair where my mate text me and asked if I wanted to pop down, with nothing much planned for the day I thought I may as well enjoy the weather and look at a few nice cars. Thankfully the weather stayed dry pretty much throughout the show, well in Northampton anyway.
The Early Edition show was probably one of our first show reports on Grand Nostalgic back in 2011, how time has flown. This is only the second annual show, and it seemed to attract the usual well known cars of the UK Volkswagen scene. It’s not what we’re really interested in though here at Grand Nostalgic, it’s all about the immaculate and well built modified classics we come across at these shows.
Simplicity is key and VW owners get this right pretty much every time, the cars obviously reflect this.
I did unfortunately miss a fair few cars out as I was borrowing the camera from my friend. There was one car there though that made it well worthwhile me popping down to the show, which I will leave for another blog post which will be up soon!
